Music lovers can celebrate Heritage Month with the chance to win a one-night stay at Boardwalk Hotel and Casino when they purchase tickets to the Gqeberha Legends Festival – Heritage Alive.
Two lucky ticket holders will each stand a chance to win a one-night stay at Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. To qualify, tickets must be purchased between 1 and 15 September.
The festival takes place on Saturday, 19 September, at Boardwalk ICC and promises an evening of live entertainment celebrating the musical heritage of Gqeberha and the Eastern Cape.
The event brings together legendary performers and local talent for a celebration spanning jazz, R&B, soul, pop, Motown, Afro jazz and indigenous South African music.
The festival aims to showcase “The Best of the Bay” while celebrating the artists, cultural traditions and creative spirit of Gqeberha and the Eastern Cape.
The line-up includes Bradley Goldman as MC, Micayla Lee, Neli Chitha, Tash Mahal, After 7, Kerry Hiles and Kristo Zondag, Creswell October, Andy Ndlazilwana, Austin Hendricks, Chapter Three and Blaze Band.
Doors open at 17:00, with the show starting at 18:00.
The festival is presented in partnership with the Mojo Foundation, National Arts Council and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.
