NEW Brighton football enthusiasts saw Chevrolet Stadium turning into a hive of activity when three high-scoring SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) SAB Regional League games took place at the venue on Saturday.
It seemed as if things were falling apart for Motherwell Academy as they were outplayed 11-0 by PE Sundowns in the first game at Chevrolet Stadium.
It was Motherwell’s third defeat in their last four matches, while Sundowns have won three of their last four games.
Sundowns’ goals came courtesy of Luyolo Mene (four), Malibongwe Maseti (hat trick) with Siviwe Gulwa and Samkelo Hlutywa, scoring a brace each.
Roaring Tigers’ home supporters whimpered after they saw their side succumbing 5-1 to the high riding Major Chiefs.

Camper United continued their good form, registering an emphatic 5-3 victory over Despatch Pioneers at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Sunday.
In the tough battle of the neighbours at Thembani Stadium in KwaLanga Township, Westville Academy held Highland Spurs to a 1-1 draw.
