At least six men, four of whom were armed, robbed a supermarket in Cotswold Avenue earlier today, February 16.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, it is alleged that this morning the men entered the shop and held staff at gunpoint.
“Cash, cigarettes and other items were taken. The suspects fled in a grey Suzuki Swift and an Opel Corsa,” said Naidu.
“No shots were fired and no one was injured.”
Naidu said police are investigating a case of business robbery.
