SAPS Humewood opened an inquest after a body washed ashore this yesterday afternoon, April 9 at Cape Recife.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 17:20, the body of an unknown man was found on the beach at Cape Recife behind the shooting range.
“The man was dressed in a wet suit and is unknown,” she added.
“A post-mortem will determine the cause of death.”
The investigation is ongoing.
