Bethelsdorp collision claims life of Brandon May, 45.

The man who was involved in a collision in the Bethelsdorp area on Friday, February 14, has been identified as Brandon May, 45.

Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said a culpable homicide case was opened for further investigation.

She stated that at the time of his death, May was wearing a pink Uzzi shirt, blue boxer shorts, black Adidas tracksuit pants, and black Adidas tekkies.

As previously reported by the PE Express, it is alleged that at approximately 11:20, an Isuzu truck was traveling on Stanford Road from Bethelsdorp towards Gelvandale in the vicinity of Van Der Kemps Kloof. A second vehicle, a white Honda, was also traveling on Stanford Road towards Bethelsdorp.

“It is unclear what exactly happened, but the truck and the vehicle collided head-on. The driver of the Honda, May, was alone in the vehicle and died at the scene,” she reported
