FRIENDS of Bayworld (FOB) and the Algoa Caledonian Pipe Band, with the assistance of Magnetic Storm, SPAR Eastern Cape, Omega Risk Solution and Relay Emergency Services,will once again host their very successful Night at the Museum (NATM) event at Bayworld.

The sixth instalment will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8.

The theme for this year is an ‘Alien Invasion at Bayworld’ and there will be a dress-up competition for NATM6, which will be judged by CON.ECT cosplayers as well as Ray from Ray’s Dance Studio.

FOB representative and event organiser Anelle Bailey said, “I am so proud at how the NATM keeps on succeeding over the years and how it affords the whole family to go out together and enjoy a night out on the town.”

The NATM 6 will offer:

  • Dress-up competition in the EEC
  • Treasure hunt by torch light in the museum
  • Dress up corner in the costume gallery and photo opportunity
  • Snake interaction
  • Dance performances by the Ray Dance Studio, Defying Gravity and Izilo Zakwantu Entertainment
  • Performances from the Algoa Caledonian Pipe Band.

Tickets are available at R50 per person and R35 (early bird) from Bayworld, FotoFirst (Summerstrand Village), Angelic Enchantments (Lower Valley Road), La Rochelle (Despatch), Just Vintage Antiques (Newton Park), Ray’s Dance Studio, Algoa Caledonian Pipe Band, SANCCOB EC and Zwartkops Conservancy.

Children aged two and younger will gain free entry. Event starts at 18:00 till 22:00 on Friday and 16:00 till 20:00 on Saturday.

Bayworld will be closed during both days for preparations.
