THE boyfriend of Vicki Terblanche, who is also one of the accused in her murder, will have another charge added to his already long list, after he was allegedly found with drugs at court recently.

The drama unfolded at the Gqeberha Magistrate’s Court on January 28, when Reinhardt Leach and his co-accused, Vicki’s estranged husband, Arnold Terblanche, together with Dylan Cullis, had to appear for judgement in Arnold Terblanche’s bail application.

It was revealed after their appearance that during a routine search at the court, Leach allegedly had an envelope of Tik in his possession. “A case of possession of drugs was opened at Mount Road Police Station,” police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said.

After waiting a few days for a requisition to be sent to St Alban’s Correctional Facility, Leach made a virtual appearance again in court on Wednesday, February 2.

His case was then postponed to March 28, for the charge to be added to the existing charge sheet, pertaining to Vicki’s murder.

This is the same date that Leach, Terblanche and Cullis are to appear in court again for further investigation of Vicki’s murder case.

The three face charges ranging from murder and conspiracy to committing murder, after Vicki’s body was found in a shallow grave in Greenbushes, in October last year.

Arnold Terblanche was denied bail by Magistrate Kriban Pillay. Leach and Cullis had abandoned their bid for bail.
