Alleged gang affiliate gunned down in early morning hours

Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that at about 01:00 yesterday morning, a white VW Polo Vivo allegedly drove to the Smelly Creek Lighthouse in Deal Party and parked. 

“It is further alleged that at about 03:00, a bakkie drove in and parked behind the VW Polo Vivo. Three men jumped out and started to shoot at the person in the VW Polo. The driver of the VW Polo started to run with the suspects chasing after him. The suspects then jumped into the bakkie and drove away,” Naidu explained.

The deceased, Alviro Isaacs (30) sustained multiple gunshot wounds. 

“The motive for the murder is under investigation. Police are on the hunt for the suspects,” she added.
