RUNNERS will be taking to the streets of Bluewater Bay for the N2 City 15km Challenge on Saturday, January 22.
The event, which is an Eastern Province Athletics participation event and is sponsored by Dazim Investments, will start and finish at the N2 City Shopping Centre.
The route is relatively flat, with much of the action being run alongside the Swartkops River, as well as the roads adjacent to the sea.
The race will also see an extra test for runners where the infamous Tippers creek climb, at the 13km mark, will test the resolve of those who take up the challenge.
The 15km gets underway at 06:00 and the cut off time is 08:30.
Entry fee for the 15km is R80. All EPA registered athletes older than 65 can enter for free. Race entries and race numbers can be collected on January 21 from the EPA offices at the Oval in Westbourne Road.
No late entries on the day of the race will be accepted.
