A man drove himself to hospital with a bullet-riddled car this morning, February 22 after being shot, allegedly more than once.
Police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said that at about 11:00 this morning, SAPS Mount Road members responded to a complaint at Greenacres Hospital.
“On arrival, they found a white VW Polo with multiple gunshots. They were informed that the driver was taken to the casualty department for treatment for gunshot wounds,” Janse van Rensburg explained.
“The driver has not yet been interviewed in order to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his injuries and the shooting. Police have opened an attempted murder case,” she added.
