THE Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Traffic and Licensing Services department recently donated two obsolete parking meters to the St Croix Motor Museum.
The museum displays vintage vehicles and the vintage parking meters will be displayed alongside these vehicles.
According to Warren Prins, director: traffic and licencing, the donation was made after all municipal processes were followed in terms of donation of obsolete municipal assets to entities/persons. The donation was duly authorised by council.
“The donated parking meters now have a permanent home in the St Croix Motor Museum and will be accessible to all residents and visitors of Nelson Mandela Bay.”
