ZWIDE Football Swartkops Sea Salt Premier League log leaders, Shooting Stars FC, redeemed themselves in their 2-1 win over Hungry Lions FC during their clash at Shining Stars Ground on Saturday.
The victory comes one week after Shooting Stars lost 3-2 to Umanyano Stars at the same venue. After playing 12 games, Stars are leading the pack with 31 league points.
Stars’ loyal supporters were very ecstatic when they saw their side returning to its winning ways.
Shining Stars, who were the hosts, earned a convincing 4-2 win, when they took on Really Crusaders, while Sophakama FC drubbed Young Brothers 4-0 on Saturday.
The much–improved Strikers United claimed a 3-1 victory over the struggling Morning Stars on Saturday.
