IT was a gruelling task when Bisho Stars FC shared a goalless draw with Highbury FC, during their ABC Motsepe League clash at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Saturday.

The game produced some fireworks right from the word go. The tempo of the game was very fast, with the players displaying their football skills. Most of the time, the action took place in the centre of the field. There were no clear-cut goal-scoring opportunities.

The goalkeepers did not have much work to do.

Stars’ left winger, Simamkele Dudley Pefile, got a single opportunity to kill the game in the 70th minute but the left-footed player’s effort went over the poles.

Highbury FC also failed to make their single opportunity count, after Thamsanqa Gwabeni received an unexpected pass in the box which he scooped over the poles in 85th minute. Be that as it may, the game was very impressive.
