TO the dismay of loyal supporters, three sides did not play their SAFA NMB SAB Regional League games on Sunday.
According to SAFA NMB referees’ head, Lindikhaya Bolo, Young Teenagers were expected to host Bay Tigers at Veeplaas Turf Stadium but the match officials who earlier confirmed that they would be available to control the game, failed to pitch up.
Bolo also stated that Roaring Tigers, who were going to welcome Golden Aces at Chevrolet Stadium in New Brighton, saw their game called off as they failed to produce players’ identity documents.
Bolo further told PE Express that the hosts, PE Sundowns, failed to pitch up for game against Major Chiefs at Chevrolet Stadium, that was scheduled to start at 13:00. Bolo said the clubs affected should wait for the boardroom decision regarding the three incidents.
