AS we release this week’s edition of PE Express, the final issue for 2024, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our readers, advertisers, staff, and their families for their unwavering support throughout the year.
We are concluding the year on a high note with the exciting announcement in November of the sale of EP Media, which publishes the Express titles in the Eastern Cape, as well as our sister publications in the Western Cape, Boland, Free State, and Northern Cape regions, to Novus Holdings.
This transition into Novus Media Community News presents an array of thrilling opportunities, allowing us to expand while remaining true to our roots as the voice, ears, and eyes of the communities we serve.
In 2024, we have had the privilege of reporting on numerous community heroes—individuals who truly make a difference without seeking recognition. To each of you, I express my deepest respect and admiration. May you continue to be blessed in abundance as angels on earth.
In a world surrounded by chaos, wars, and negativity, my hope is for humanity to pause and reflect on life’s true priorities. Let us embrace kindness and do the right thing. Remember, a simple smile and gestures of kindness are priceless and cost nothing.
To all our readers, my wish is for you to seize every day to be the best version of yourself. Be kind to every living being, including yourself, make a difference—big or small, express love to your dear ones, and strive to ease the lives of those who are struggling.
