SAPS Algoa Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next-of-kin of a man that was found dead in Lindsay Road, Korsten, yesterday morning, May 20.
At about 07:30, police responded to a complaint of a body lying in this road. Upon arrival they found the man lying on steps next to a building. He had no visible injuries.
Police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said that the deceased had a bandage around his head and legs.
“The deceased is unknown and aged between 35 and 40 years old. He was wearing checkered sleep shorts with an overall top. The cause of death is unknown and an Inquest is currently under investigation,” she said.
