NELSON Mandela Bay and retired FIFA match official, Lindikhaya Bolo, announced to PE Express on Friday that the Cookhouse Sustainable Community Development Forum (CSDF) had requested him to conduct a referees’ training workshop in preparation for the GBV Football Tournament, which will occur in Cookhouse on Saturday and Sunday, November 26 to 27.
The former South African Football Association and Confederation of African Football match official said, “I am very delighted to share my experience with the Cookhouse referees from November 26 to 27. The Cookhouse football community are also so happy to form a partnership with me. I personally feel that this programme is going to be a resounding success because everybody is prepared to work with me in Cookhouse.”
Since putting away his assistant referee’s flag, the internationally well-known sportsman is currently busy continuing to serve football in the following portfolios which are SAFA referees’ instructor, SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay referees’ appointment officer and SAFA Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League referees match commissioner.
