After two years of Covid-19 wreaking havoc in the events industry, the Slipperfields Gin, Beer and Spirits Festival will be back on 22 and 23 December – now bigger, better and more exciting than ever.
On Thursday, 22 December the whole family can join in the festivities. While mom and
dad are exploring the many vendors, the children can enjoy the long list of
supervised activities, from tractor rides and jumping castles to “boeresport”
and a bike track.
Powered by Algoa
FM, many artists are lined up to play, and with headlining artists Francois van
Coke and Centrestage, this year’s GinFest is sure to be a calendar-worthy
event.
The Slipperfields team has been working around the clock to ensure the
attendees have an experience that checks every box. With the help of Schweppes,
festivalgoers can venture through the best local and international gins, beers,
spirits, and wines, paying particular homage to the craftsmanship thereof.
If getting home
after the festivities is your concern, they have thought of that, too. Driven
by Tavcor Suzuki, a shuttle service will be available to Gqeberha and Jeffreys
Bay, ensuring everyone can enjoy themselves without worry.
There certainly
will not be anyone left going hungry. If you attend the Slipperfields Gin, Beer and Spirits Festival, your greatest challenge might be deciding what to eat.
Slipperfields has carefully selected food stands that can take you on a
culinary journey anywhere from Asian food to local favourites, like lamb potjie
and rooster brood, right here in the heart of the Eastern Cape.
Tickets are available on Quicket. Go to the Slipperfields Gin, Beer and Spirit(s) Festival Facebook page for more info.
