Police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said that the deceased had no visible injuries and an inquest was opened for further investigation. “The deceased is unknown and is aged between 25 and 30 years. He has short black hair and a moustache,” she said.

In another unrelated murder case, the body of an unknown man was found on November 5, 2022 in Harry Smith Street, Sidwell. The deceased, approximately between 35 and 45 years old, sustained visible injuries to his body.

“He was dressed in a grey T-shirt and black tracksuit pants. A murder case was opened for further investigation,” she added.
