A biker has died yesterday, March 13, after his motorcycle veered off the road and landed in bushes on the N2 near Commercial Road.
The biker, who is approximately 60 years old, died at the scene.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that the victim was travelling in the direction of Cotswold when the accident occurred at approximately 15:00.
“There was no other vehicle involved. A postmortem will be done to determine the exact cause of death,” Naidu said.
The name of the victim will be released once a formal identification has been done.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
