A prayer meeting has been planned for the missing biokineticist that was nabbed from her workplace in Newton Park on Thursday, March 16.

Although two of the three suspects have been arrested and the getaway car found by police, Riana Pretorius is still missing. A ransom demand of R2 million has been made for her safe return.

Friends of Pretorius, particularly certain alumni of Hoërskool Framesby, where Pretorius matriculated in 2015, have organised the prayer meeting for her safe return.

The prayer meeting will take place tonight, March 19, at 23 Pickering Street, Newton Park, with candles that symbolise thoughts and prayers for her safety.

“We want her to be found, we want her to be safe and we want her family to know that they have our support. We will not stand for this injustice, greed and cruelty. Please show your support by attending this event and sharing this message,” the friends shared on social media.

There is still no new update regarding her whereabouts. The investigation by the Hawks continues.
