Pure Hot And Talented (Pty) Ltd is organising a free music workshop, Connecting the Dots Music Business Workshop, on Saturday, June 24 in Motherwell.

The workshop is designed to bring together music enthusiasts of all levels to engage in a collaborative and interactive learning experience.
Topics to be covered in the workshop include:
  • Artist management
  • Music publishing
  • Copyright and licensing
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Live performances
  • Digital distribution

Attendees will also be able to showcase their talents during the New Music Listening Session and Music Video Watch Party.

They have invited speakers from the South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPRA), an organisation that collects royalties on behalf of recording artists and record companies.

They have also invited Sebenzile Zalabe, a media person, Chris Sobinca, a business administrator and Tawuya Mushaike from CCIFSA Eastern Cape, secretary from Nelson Mandela Metro, to share ideas and tips for upcoming musicians.
