Local resident, Lesa-Maré Harris, and her furry companion, Finn, are on a mission, doing a charitable campaign during June to collect pet food, treats and blankets for animal-associated charities in and around Gqeberha.
Finn’s Furry Friends – A Paw Project – celebrates Finn’s third birthday, which is in June.
“Finn was adopted in 2020 during lockdown and filled my heart. Finn is my best friend, travel buddy and fur child. He is more of a friend than a pet, and offers endless love and wagging tail vibes to all who visit.
“So now I want to give back to the community projects that help animals, and are currently suffering financial strain,” she said.
Any support for the campaign is welcome. They are collecting canned pet food, dry dog and cat food, pet treats and blankets.
