SAPS Kabega Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 22-year-old man who went missing on Friday, June 2.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, on Friday, June 2, Kuhle Mzuzwana was allegedly at Maitlands Beach with some friends.
“They went for a swim, and Mzuzwana was seen to be swept away with the waves. His friends could not rescue him.
“Rescue services were on the scene, however, he could not be found. It is suspected that he may have drowned, but to date his body has not been found. His family has reported him missing,” said Janse van Rensburg.
Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the investigation to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
