Veeplaas Masters and Young Pirates Masters booked themselves a place in the Nelson Mandela Bay Masters & Legends Association finals by winning their semi-final matches that took place at Veeplaas Turf Stadium on Sunday.

Veeplaas broke the hearts of hot favourite supporters, Sparks, after they handed them an unbelievable 6–1 defeat during their semi-final. Veeplaas showed they were no longer underdogs, after defeating their neighbours, Soweto United, 4–1 during their quarter-finals at Mawabo Dyubhele Sports Complex, while Sparks overcame Port Elizabeth Eleven Masters 2–1 in their quarter-finals at Motherwell NU 9 Community Grounds last Sunday.

Pirates made it clear they were also not underdogs, after they defeated Port Elizabeth All Stars 3–1 in the quarter-finals, while Slovo beat Villagers 4–2 on penalties after their 1–1 full-time score of their quarter-final match at Motherwell NU9 Grounds last Sunday.

Slovo will play against Sparks in the plate promotions, while Veeplaas take on Young Pirates at Veeplaas Turf Stadium on October 1.
