SAPS Chatty detectives are investigating a culpable homicide case after Linathi Ngalo (6) died when a mini bus taxi collided into him while he was playing in Nortjie Street, 7 De Laan in Chatty on Monday, October 2.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that between 17:00 and 18:00 Linathi was playing in Nortjie Street in Chatty when a white Quantum minibus collided into him as he ran into the street.
“No one was arrested, and a case of culpable homicide is under investigation,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
