Simxolele Zitshu (31) has pleaded guilty to murdering well-known Gqeberha physiotherapist, Marolien Schmidt in the Gqeberha High Court today, October 11.
He has pleaded guilty to all three counts against him. The charges are as follows: house breaking with an intent to steal, robbery with aggravating circumstances , and murder.
Schmidt was brutally murdered in her Richmond Hill home in the early hours of Wednesday, August 9.
Marolien’s mother, Sineke Schmidt and brother, Casper, and friend Rebecca Gatangi are attending the proceedings.
