Curro Westbrook is calling on all parents and guardians to join them for an exciting and informative Experience Day at their campus at 1 Burchell Road, Westbrook Estate, in Gqeberha on Saturday 4 November from 09:00 until 12:00.
Curro Westbrook accommodates learners from as young as three months through to Grade 12 and is a thriving school which offers a stimulating programme, including robotics, with a highly resolute and experienced team of teachers who follow a structured, well-planned, and balanced curriculum.
The programmes are designed around developmental milestones that learners need to reach at various stages of their young lives.
In the Foundation Phase, the fundamental building blocks of your children’s futures are built.
At Curro Westbrook, Robotics, Science, and Abuti (conversational Xhosa), are offered and all taught by the Foundation Phase Grade educators, while there are also specialised IT, Phys Ed, Art, and Music teachers.
The state-of-the-art high school continues to develop towards becoming the ‘one-of-its-kind’ high school within the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan area.
Some of the academic value-adds include a fully-equipped science lab, an IT lab kitted out with modern technology, a STEAMD classroom (equipped with drones, 3D printers, laser cutters, and virtual reality), and a dedicated visual arts classroom.
Each subject offers its own unique specialisation and Curro Westbrook’s resolute teachers and well-rounded approach prepare learners for the IEB examinations at the end of Grade 12.
The enriched academic curriculum is actively supplemented by traditional sporting and cultural extra-murals, as well as a strong focus on the development of strong leadership potential in all the learners.
Curro Westbrook’s pre-school offers an integrated play-based programme to learners from three months to five years old, offering sensory play, holistic development of the child, a safe, secure, and friendly environment, and dedicated and loving teachers.
