SAPS Swartkops detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 56-year-old woman who went missing on Monday, November 20.
According to Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg it is alleged at approximately 13:00, Yolande Le Roux, left her house in Hillcrest Drive, Bluewater Bay with an e-hailing service.
“According to information she informed her husband that she was going to the shop.
“When she did not return after an hour, he phoned her on the cell phone and a family/work colleague answered the phone,” said Van Rensburg.
“The person informed her husband that the phone was brought to him by the e-hailing service, because his wife left it in the vehicle.
“The e-hailing driver was traced and he informed her husband that he dropped Mrs Le Roux in Marine Drive close to the Boardwalk mall,” she added.
She was reported missing at SAPS Swartkops on Tuesday, November 21, and police are searching for her.
