It may only be the last week of November, but festive cheer is in the air – and Arthur’s Christmas Wonderland is already underway.

It’s a must-see every year, with hundreds, even thousands, of decorations from all over the world put up. This year’s newly-created/designed Christmas tree is “chic in pink” and was inspired by the pink flowers currently blooming in Arthur Muller and Darrelle Lee-Muller’s garden.

They have been the masterminds behind Arthur’s Christmas Wonderland since it first launched. This year is the 23rd edition of the event.

Asked what people can look forward to at the event, they quipped, “As always, joie de vivre, and celebrating the reason for the season”.

Their plans for the year ahead include first a sunny tropical Mauritius holiday and then, God-willing, an extension to their newly-designed garden, which will form part of future Arthur’s Christmas Wonderland.

The chosen beneficiary for 2023 is Save-a-Pet, inspired by “Our beautiful Princess Casandra and our love for the fur babies.”

Arthur and Darrelle said a big thank you to Yolande Geel for handling the Arthur’s Christmas Wonderland Instagram page.

Arthur’s Christmas Wonderland will be open to the public on December 2 and 9 from 14:00 to 17:00 at 4 Framesby Villas in Kabega Road.

Entry is R20. They also ask patrons to consider a donation of cat or dog food. All proceeds go to Save-a-Pet.
