The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 16 year old boy who went missing on Tuesday, January 23. 

According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 18:30,  Iminathi Feni (16), from Zamukulungiza Street, Nu2 Motherwell left his house.

“His mother were under the impression that he went to a friend’s house. 

“After two hours he still did not return home and his mother went searching for him,” said Janse Van Rensburg. 

“Efforts made by the family to locate him were in vain.

“The following day he still did not return home and he was reported missing at SAPS Ikamvelihle.  He was dressed in his school uniform, blue blazer, white school shirt and grey pants with slip slops” she said. 

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Iminathi Feni, to urgently contact D/WO Riaan Krause on 071 352 4674 Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
