FANS came in their numbers as Port Elizabeth East Football Association (PEEFA) Premier League resumes their first games of the season at Veeplaas Turf Stadium on Saturday and on Sunday.

Hillside United secured a 2-0 victory when they took on Soweto Eleven on Saturday. Forresters succumbed by 2-1 to Young Aces. Mighty Warriors registered a surprise 4-1 defeat to Real Lions. PEEFA Premier League champions United Brothers secured as easy 4-0 win from Joe Slovo Golden Stars on Saturday.

Young Teenagers FC ,affectionately called Amachina by their supporters, accumulated a well-deserved 2-0 win from FC Winners on Sunday. Red City FC lost 2-0 to Mighty Birds while Golden Stars surprised the supporters of United Brothers as they defeated them, 4-2. In a tough game, supporters of Peace Lovers saw their side accumulate hard-fought a 2-1 win from the tough Real Aces.
