Liyakhanya Bakaqana scored from the penalty spot early in the first half. In the second half, Porto’s striker, Siphosethu Puwani ,scored a brilliant goal. The score was level at 1–1.
Odwa Kwayiba tormented the backline of Porto. Kwayiba supplied a perfect pass to Bakaqana who scored Young Ideas’ winning goal.

Shining Stars booked themselves a berth in the next round of the MOFA Mayoral Cup by beating Black Vultures 5–3 after their 2–2 fulltime score at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium on Saturday. On Sunday at Motherwell NU 11, Valencia beat Young Ideas 1–0, and Royal Bucks defeated Camper United 2–1 in their tough clash.
