The Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha is urgently seeking the community’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who disappeared on Friday, February 16.
In a media statement released by SAPS, Police Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg reported that it is alleged that Kaylyn Joyce Kido (15), residing at Searle Road, Schauderville, left her residence around 14:00.
“She informed her parents that she is going to a friend’s house before going to the shop.
“She was informed to be back home at 19:00, however she never returned. Efforts made by the family to locate her were in vain. On Tuesday 20/02 after she still did not return home, she was reported missing at SAPS Gelvandale,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
“Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Kaylyn Kido, to urgently contact D/WO Timothy Minyayo on 071 475 1731 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.”
