Four Bethelsdorp Comprehensive School learners have set the bar high for those who follow. Lee-Roagan de Kock (far left) and Lucan Louw (far right) will represent their respective soccer clubs at the South African Football Association u/18 soccer trials to be held in East London. Mpumelelo van Wyk (inside left) and Leché Sampson won the NRF-SAEON 2023 Atlantic Ocean Competition with the posters they designed for the competition. School principal, Nigel Beck, said he was very proud of the learners who have excelled, not only in sport but also culturally. ‘Education is more than just academics, and it is important that our learners grow into well-rounded individuals who are able to contribute meaningfully to the future of South Africa,’ he said.
