The search for the kidnapped Gqeberha businessman, Neal Ah-Tow tirelessly continues, the Hawks confirmed on enquiry on Wednesday, March 6.

Hawks spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela confirmed that there are no recent developments regarding Ah-Tow’s kidnapping. 

Yesterday, Mgolodela stated that a ransom demand of $1.4 million was made for Ah-Tow’s release, highlighting suspected involvement of foreign nationals.

As previously reported by the PE Express, Ah-Tow was abducted by a group of five men while preparing to open his fishery in Sidwell, Gqeberha.

Colonel Priscilla Naidu, spokesperson for the police, stated, “the armed suspects, driving a silver Chev Cruz vehicle forced the victim into their vehicle and drove off.”

Since the incident, Ah-Tow’s whereabouts remain unknown.
