Easter Market: This year’s market will be held at Walmer Town Hall, on Friday, March 29, from 09:00 to 13:00. There will be various stalls, bric-a-brac, arts and crafts, pre-loved clothing, and lots of food stalls. To book a stall for only R100, contact Debbie on 082 227 7073.

Easter Services: St Peter’s Congregational Church, Walter Road, Charlo, invites you to our Easter Services. On Friday, March 29, at 09:00, the message is “Easter at the tomb’” and on Sunday, March 31, at 09:00, the message is “A time to rejoice”. Communion will also be shared. All are welcome to join. Re-Seconds Market: A special Easter Market will take place on Saturday, March 30, at Walmer Town Hall. Find a special Easter Bunny inside the Locally Yours Shop at the 9th Avenue Centre during the month of March, and exchange it on market day for a special gift from the Easter Bunny. Art in the Park: A market will be held on Sunday, March 31 at St George’s Park, Central, from 09:00 to 13:00. There will be craft, art, food, and bric-a-brac, as well as live music. Stalls are free to charities and children. Children are encouraged to bring toys, books, and craft work for sale. The Decades Party: The North Event Centre in Bloemendal presents “The Decades Party” on Easter Sunday, March 31, supporting “JC Fundraising”. Malabar Home for the Aged BGM: The Biennial General Meeting of the Malabar Home for the Aged will take place on Thursday, April 4, commencing at 18:00 at the home, in 19 Saliehout Street Malabar. Business to be transacted includes reports, audited financial statement, amendments to the constitution, election of new office bearers, and any other relevant matters.

Boot Sale/Market Day: St Peter’s Congregational Church, Walter Road, Charlo, invites you to their monthly event on Saturday, April 6, from 09:00 to 13:00. Entry for sellers is R50. Auction Charity: The Sunday School at St Peter’s Congregational Church, Walter Road, Charlo, invites sellers and buyers to a movable goods auction on Saturday, April 6, at 10:00. Gqeberha Central Men’s Shed: They meet every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Athenaeum, Athol Fugard Terrace (Belmont Terrace), between Castle Hill and Military Road, opposite the Supreme Court. A men’s shed is a space where men can relax, get together to talk, work together, have a cup of coffee, and create friends. They will be discussing their new projects – assisting selected schools with skills development, business acumen, etc, and how to promote men’s health with talks, and possibly a radio slot.
