A Teenage boy (19) was found dead in a house in Westering that caught on fire early on Saturday morning.
According to Police spokesperson, Capt. Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, Lukhanyo Kwikwi died in the blaze.
Police was alerted at around 06.25 of the house fire in Clarence Street. After the blaze was doused, Lukhanyo’s body was found.
According to Capt. Janse van Rensburg, Lukhanyo was reportedly alone at home as his mother slept over in Kwadwesi.
No other injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and no foul play is suspected.
