GQEBERHA – The U20 Junior Springboks have set up their training base at Pearson High School in Gqeberha ahead of their U20 Rugby Championship matches against New Zealand, Australia, and Argentina.

The Championship will take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium from Monday, 27 April, with their first game against Argentina to kick off at 16:10.

The school’s fields and gymnasium will host the squad for the next two weeks as they prepare for the international tournament.

This continues a growing relationship between Pearson High School and South African rugby, as the senior Springboks also used the school’s facilities as their training base during their Gqeberha fixture in July 2025 against Italy.
