The women at the Motherwell Community and Enviro Hub were overjoyed recently when they received a donation of nearly R40 000 worth of jewellery materials, tools, beads, and crystals.

The donation was made by Jenni Gault, a well-known Gqeberha-based designer for Swarovski, and specialist in all things jewellery.

“This world-travelled, mountain-climbing woman not only tackles challenges head-on, but she has a heart of gold, pun intended!” said Antoinette Esterhuyse, president of the Rotary Club of PE South.

Motherwell Community and Enviro Hub is one of the projects supported by the Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth South.

The women at the centre are skilled in many forms of artistic beading. During her visit Gault taught the beadmasters how to work with the various donated apparatus, and her talk was one of encouragement and inspiration.

“Jenni not only inspired the ladies, but she also gave them an exciting creative beading project to be completed toward the end of May. We cannot wait to see the results!” added Esterhuyse.

“The Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth South is immensely proud of Jenni for the huge donation and for her selfless input for the good of humanity, as well as the environment. We, as well as the beading aficionados at the Motherwell Community and Enviro Hub, salute this inspiring business woman,” she said.
