GQEBERHA – One suspect of a rape case is wanted by the SAPS Motherwell Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).
According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge, the suspect is Papama Macingwane, 41 years old, and has appeared before the court already.
He added that the suspect failed to appear for a follow-up date and has not been seen since by SAPS. “A warrant of arrest has been issued for the suspect to be apprehended.”
Any person with information that could assist the police in tracing the suspect or his whereabouts can contact the investigating officer at SAPS Motherwell FCS Unit, Detective Sergeant Jacobs at 071 475 2324, or alternatively Crime Stop at 08600 10111 to remain anonymous.
