SAPS from Kabega Park responded to a complaint of a business robbery that took place at the MetLife Mall in Kabega Park, Gqeberha, and were at the scene of the incident today, 13 August.
The store that was allegedly robbed is Sportscene, and this is allegedly not the first time the store has been robbed at gunpoint. In 2023, PE Express reported another robbery that allegedly took place at the same store.
According to the SAPS spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, “This is still an active scene, and no further information is available.”
