Eleven Angels upset Swartkops United
ZAKHELE Football Association (ZAFA) Premier League title chasers Swartkops United were upset by Eleven Angels’ FC in a 2–2 draw at Dynamos Grounds on Saturday.
Swartkops led the ZAFA Premier League log table from the start of the season. The draw has dropped the team, who have 13 points from five games, from first to third on the log.
As things stand, Golden Brothers lead the ZAFA Premier League log after beating Charge United 3–0 at Eleven Angels Grounds.
Royal Blues set their sights on the ZAFA Premier League trophy and hold second. Blues defeated United Comrades 2–1 at Dynamos Grounds.
Dynamos embarrassed Island City 6–1 at Eleven Angels Grounds. Young Boys, worked extremely hard to claim a hard-fought 2–1 win over Young Neighbours, while Stone Breakers were held to a 2–2 draw by Black Eagles at Eleven Angels Grounds.
Madibaz Football salvage a win
MADIBAZ Football refused to go down to Sasol League Ladies’ Coastal Stream title contenders, Nav Galaxy, beating them 1–0 at Nelson Mandela Bay South Campus.
Bay Stars supporters cheered when their side secured a 4–1 victory over Volcano Ladies’ FC during their Coastal Stream clash at Chevrolet Stadium in New Brighton. In their Coastal Stream game, at Gelvan Turf, Golden Stars Ladies’ Football Development outplayed Rhodes University 10–1.
The Inland Stream log leaders, Executive Ladies’ FC registered a comprehensive 4–0 away victory to Coastal United in Ntabankulu Stadium. Ayakha Stars snatched a convincing 3–0 home victory from Red Roses Ladies at Rotary Stadium in Mthatha. Eastern Rangers were thumped 3–1 by Eastern Cape Peace Lovers Ladies at Engcobo Stadium.
MOFA resume their league games
FOLLOWING the recent heavy rain that left fields waterlogged, Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) resumed its league games at Motherwell NU 9 and NU 11 Stadia.
In MOFA Premier League games Tomorrow Stars were on the receiving end when they were up against the title contenders, Valencia, who thwarted them 4–1 at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.
Following a long drought of wins, Eleven Stars hammered Arsenal FC 7–1 in a one-sided premier league clash at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium. Royal Bucks went down 2–0 to the high-riding Young Ideas at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium.
Lion City reserve side embarrassed AmaXhosa FC 3–1 at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium. Seven Sundowns produced a 1–1 draw against Ingwe Stars and AmaXhosa FC at Motherwell NU 9 and NU 11 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Camper United trounced Liverpool 4–0 at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium.

Amadamara FC walloped Morning Stars 6–1 in a one-sided game at Zwide Celtics Grounds. Sophakama FC caught Real Crusaders by surprise in an unexpected 1–1 draw at Zwide Celtics Grounds.
Young Brothers gave Everon a 4–1 hiding at Shining Stars Ground. Gal City played to a 1–1 draw against Umanyano Stars during their nailbiting game, while Alaska let down their supporters in a 3–1 defeat to Khipu Major Chiefs Sports Club at Shining Stars Grounds.
