SAPS Kabega Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of a man who passed away after a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, March 23.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 11:15, the deceased crossed the N2 freeway at the Windfarm; while crossing he was hit by a vehicle, the pedestrian was taken to the hospital but passed away due to his injuries.

“He is an african man aged between 30 and 35 years,” said Janse van Rensburg.

A case of culpable homicide was opened and is under investigation.
