The Nelson Mandela Bay Dance Festival is set to celebrate its 43rd year at the Savoy Theatre, from August 26 to 31. The Eastern Cape and Southern Cape will be represented by 20 dance studios, with almost 700 dancers ready to perform their hearts out for adjudicator Debbie Rakusin. A gala performance of all championship winners and adjudicators’ choices will take place on Saturday, featuring its youngest ever MC, 20-year-old Gemma Bisseker. Tickets for the festival can be purchased at the door of the Savoy Theatre at R50 per person, per day. Gala tickets at R120 per person are available at www.webtickets.co.za.
