PE Gin Festival: The Port Elizabeth Gin Festival will take place at the Boardwalk Hotel & Casino on August 24, from 12:00 to 22:00. Food trucks will keep hunger at bay, and there will be live music. East Cape Calligraphers: Their monthly meeting will be held on August 24 at 13:00 in the Westering Methodist Youth Lounge in Papenkuil Street, Westering. Boot Sale/Market Day: St Peter’s Congregational Church, Walter Road, Charlo, will have their monthly event on Saturday, August 24, from 09:00 to 13:00. Entry is free to the public. Stall vendors set up from 08:00. Eats, refreshments, clothes, bric-a-brac, and toys will be sold. Come and sell your unwanted items. The stall rental is R50. Auction Charity:
The Sunday School at St Peter’s Congregational Church, Walter Road, Charlo, invites sellers and buyers to a movable goods auction on Saturday, August 24, at 10:00. Re-Seconds Market: The market will celebrate eight years on Sunday, August 25, at Walmer Town Hall from 09:00 to 14:00. There will be clothing, food stalls, home decor, antique collectables, and jewellery, as well as a jumping castle, live music, and a new kiddies’ section with arts, crafts, and activities. Winter Market: The market will take place at the Italian Club in Harold Road, Broadwood, on Sunday, August 25, from 09:00 to 14:00, weather permitting. There will be various stalls, from bric-a-brac, pre-loved and vintage clothing, to arts and crafts, antiques, and lots more, as well as various food stalls. Art in the Park: A market will be held on Sunday, August 25, at St George’s Park, Central, from 09:00 to 13:00. There will be craft, art, food, and bric-a-brac, as well as live music. Stalls are free to charities and children. Children are encouraged to bring along unwanted toys, books, and craft work for sale.
