This year’s Community Chest annual Winter Woolly Drive, launched at the beginning of June, was one of the busiest ever. “We set a target this year to collect a ton of clothing and are super excited to announce that we have exceeded our target, collecting three times the amount expected for this year’s drive,” said Selwyn Willis, CEO of Community Chest. All clothing donations received were distributed to beneficiaries throughout the metro. ”We are eternally grateful and humbled by the outpouring of generosity by the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay who made it possible to ring warmth and comfort to so many in need.
