Renowned real estate company owner, psalmist, and singer-songwriter, Billy Paulson, is back in the music scene with a brand-new single, Prayer of blessing, a spiritually uplifting track that embodies his enduring commitment to spreading hope, love, and God’s grace through his music.
This release marks Paulson’s return to the spotlight, and it’s clear that his passion for creating meaningful music has only grown stronger with time.
Paulson’s musical journey began at a young age, writing his first song at just 16 years old. His path as a musician devoted to God’s work was firmly established when his second song, Stop The Rain, was published in a local newspaper four years later.
This early recognition sparked a fire within Paulson, fuelling his desire to use his talents to inspire and uplift others.
Throughout his illustrious career, Paulson has penned over 600 songs, each reflecting his faith and mission to inspire others.
His classic hit, Môre Sal Die Son Weer Skyn, became a source of comfort for many during times of sorrow, sung at funerals and gatherings to remind people of God’s enduring promise of hope and renewal.
This iconic song cemented his status as a beacon of light in the local music industry, and his influence continues to be felt to this day.

Last year, Paulson told PE Express that his music is not just for one target audience, instead it resonates with a diverse group of people, across different backgrounds.
“My music is not only confined to stages and churches, but also schools, prisons, hospitals, and street corners,” he said at the time. As a result, Paulson has travelled to the Far East, Europe, USA, and New Zealand. One of his songs, Step by Step, became an instant success on both secular and Gospel charts in 1984.
The single is now available on all major streaming platforms. Paulson is also preparing to connect with both his Christian and non-Christian audience through a dedicated social media campaign, ensuring the song’s uplifting message reaches far and wide.
Even during his time away from the limelight, the artist never stopped writing.
