DESPITE their 1-0 loss to their neighbours, Young Professionals, Golden Brothers, managed to maintain their position on top of ZAFA OPEC Premier League log table.
Golden Brothers gave a good account of themselves in their second game of the weekend against the more experienced Young Professionals side.
The log leaders dug dig deep to overcome Young Neighbours 3-2 and keep their hopes of winning the league alive.
United Comrades also won both of their games, beating Black Eagles 5-0 on Saturday and Brazil Bothers 3-0 on Sunday.
Despite their close 4-3 loss to Juventus, Peace Lovers drubbed Young Neighbours 6-2. Leeds United suffered two losses in succession when they went down 5-2 to Liverpool and 2-0 to Site Stars.
Dynamos won their two games after they overcame United Brothers and Liverpool 2-1 and 5-0 respectively.
