FRIENDS of Bayworld together with the Algoa Caledonian Pipe Band are joining hands and presenting the Bay with a unique museum experience.

The Bayworld Oceanarium will come alive at night time as members of the community will be treated to a Night at the Museum where individuals can explore Africa’s lost world and oceanarium by torchlight.

The Oceanarium will provide their famous snake interactions alongside a string of entertainment from dance groups such as Ray’s Dance Studio and Defying Gravity.

Those attending the event are invited to dress up as historical figures or in their traditional outfits and they can stand a chance to win a pop prize.

Bayworld Oceanarium’s Wongalethu Benya said he is looking forward to welcoming the people of the Bay to a very promising night where the entire family of Bayworld will come together for it’s fifth annual event.

The Night at the Museum will take place on Friday, May 25 at 18:00 and on Saturday, May 26 at 16:00.

Tickets cost R35 per person and entry is free for children under 2.
